DAC7 Reporting Threshold Checker

If you sell on Vinted, Etsy, eBay or similar platforms, there's a good chance you've heard the word DAC7 and felt a flicker of panic. Here's the thing worth understanding first: being reported to your tax authority is not the same as owing tax. This tool checks both, separately.

Your situation
This calendar year, on this platform

This is general information, not tax advice. Rules depend on your personal situation — when in doubt, consult a tax professional. Source for your country's threshold: see VERIFICATION.md.

Reported ≠ taxed

DAC7 is an EU rule that requires platforms like Vinted, Etsy and eBay to report seller activity to tax authorities once you cross 30 sales or €2,000 in revenue in a calendar year, on that platform, in that year. Crossing that line means your data gets reported. It does not automatically mean you owe tax — selling your own used personal items is, in most EU countries, not a taxable activity at all. Buying or making things specifically to resell is a different story, and more likely to count as trading.
